Personal health record · South Africa
HealthPass is a personal health record app for patients. It helps you understand your condition, keep your health information in one safe place, and share it with your doctor or family when you choose.
What you can do with HealthPass
Clear health leaflets written by nurses and doctors, including the warning signs to look out for.
Your diagnosis, follow-up appointments and danger signs, on your phone after you leave hospital.
Conditions, medicines, blood test results and documents, protected with encryption.
Send your GP or family a link that expires, and switch it off at any time.
This feature is not currently enabled. When available, it will explain health information; it will not diagnose or change your treatment.
A short feedback form, without sharing your name if you prefer.
Your information is protected
HealthPass handles your health information in line with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
Documents are encrypted on your phone before they are stored, and information is encrypted while it travels.
Each person can see only their own records.
Accounts are protected with a password, and you can add a second sign-in step with an authenticator app. We strongly recommend it.
We never sell your information and we do not show advertising.
